SHADYSIDE -- Joseph and Patricia Padyjasek celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Oct. 5. They were married in 1957 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Bellaire, by the Rev. J. J. Lach.
Padyjasek is the son of the late Andrew and Helen (Ashman) Padyjasek and is a retired Boilerman from the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal. His wife, Patricia is the daughter of the late Peter and Frances (Pronyshun) Stemkowski and worked at Nickles Bakery before becoming a homemaker.
They have four children: daughter, Carla Francine Tedeschi and her husband, Lawrence, of Westerville, Ohio; two sons, Peter Andrew and John Joseph of Shadyside and their late daughter, Erin Elizabeth. They have two grandchildren, Carissa Maria Tedeschi and Christopher Michael Tedeschi.
They celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner at The Farm Restaurant, Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday, Oct. 6.
