FRANK and Joyce Sawko of Adena are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary today, Sunday, Nov. 11. They were united in marriage Nov. 11, 1973 at St. Casimir's Church by Father Kakascik.
Sawko is the son of Erma Sawko of Adena and the late Harry Sawko. His wife Joyce is the daughter of the late Frank and Virg Dosen. They have been employed respectively for many years by Consolidated Coal Company and Harrison County Rural Transit.
They are the parents of two children, Chad Sawko and his wife, Shannon, of Hopedale and Corisa Case and her husband, Drew, of Adena. They have three grandchildren, Camryn and Kenna Case and Leven Sawko.
A family dinner will be held today in their honor.
