ALAN and Mary Ann Jeffries celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Friday, Nov. 30. They were united in marriage Nov. 30, 1957 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shadyside with the late Rev. Father Peter Sartori officiating.
Jeffries is the son of the late Taylor and Frances Jeffries and is a retired electrician from WG Electric. He is also an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Mary Ann, is the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kempa and has a brother, Tom who resides in Shadyside also. She is a wife and mother.
They are parents of three children, Alan of Bergholz, Beverly and Buck Ramsay of Shadyside and Kris Lambert of Pittsburgh. They are the grandparents of three granddaughters, Jess Ramsay of New York City, Alison Ramsay of Kent and Jami Jeffries of Shadyside.
A wonderful friends and family party was held in their honor hosted by their family.
