CLARENCE "Clem'' and Dorothy Wayte will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 8. They were united in marriage in Holy Name Cathedral by the late Rev. John H. Quinn in Steubenville. Mrs. Wayte's brother, the late Father Donald A. Mantica was a seminarian at St. John Vianney Seminary in Bloomingdale at the time and assisted Rev. Quinn at their marriage.
The Waytes are both retired.
The parents of Clem and Dorothy are Lawrence and Rosella Wayte and Dr. Ralph and Rose (Linorell) Mantica.
The couple will celebrate the day with a family dinner and are planning a summer vacation.
