JIM and Shirleann Callarik Murad of Kirkwood Heights, Bridgeport celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary March 31. They were united in marriage at St. Anthony's Church in Bridgeport March 31, 1978 with Father Robert Borer celebrating the mass.
Murad, son of the late Joseph Murad of Wheeling and Elizabeth Vendelenski now at Belmont Manor in St. Clairsville. works at Lash Paving in Colerain and is the assistant coach for the Lady Irish Basketball team. His wife Shirleann Murad works in the family business, Chapter Square and is the fiscal officer for the Village of Bridgeport. She is the daughter of Mayor John Callarik of Bridgeport and the late Della Mae Callarik.
The couple has two daughters, Mikida J. Clegg, a kindergarten teacher at St. John Grade School in Bellaire, and her husband William Clegg; and Maclaine, a sixth grade student at St. John Grade School, Bellaire.
