MARTINS FERRY -- Frank and Stella celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary April 24. They were united in marriage April 24, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, with the late Monsignor Kloss officiating.
Pempek, son of the late John and Anna Pempek, is retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville Plant. His wife Stella, is the daughter of the late John and Mary Drap. She is a retired employee of East Ohio Regional Hospital. They are active members of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
They are parents of two children, Frank Jr. and his wife, Bernie of Bridgeport; Sharon Sluka and her husband, Bob of Edgewood, Ky. They also have three grandchildren, Jamie, Meghan and Kaitlyn.
