Thad and Marilyn White of Flushing will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on June 10. The couple was married June 10, 1978 at East Richland Friends Church with Rev. Wayne F. Ickes officiating.
White is the son of Henry J. and the late Lee White of Flushing and is employed by the U.S. Postal Service as postmaster in Flushing. His wife is the daughter of Orville and Betty Simpson of Belmont and she is employed by the Union Local School District as a special education aide.
The couple has four children: Melissa (Chad) Bower of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; Thaddeus Jr. (T.J.), Erin and Eric of the home. They have two granddaughters, Leigh Ann Elizabeth and Brooke Renee Bower of Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
