MARTINS FERRY-George and Emma Sorge will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on June 9. They were united in marriage at St. John Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry, with Rev. Paul Heist officiating.
Sorge, the son of the late Pierson and Freda Sorge, is employed at Ohio Valley Medical Center. His wife, Emma is employed by the City of Martins Ferry as a meter maid. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Wilma Tice.
They are the parents of a son, George (Amie) of Galloway, Ohio.
They celebrated the occasion with a family dinner.
