Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Helms of Shadyside are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, June 8.
Helms is the son of the late Lloyd and Florence Helms. His wife, Janice, is the daughter of the late Mary Loos and James Bulger.
The couple of two children, Kelly (Jim) Amato of Shadyside and Scott of Shadyside and have four grandchildren: Jimmy of Hamilton, N.Y., Eric, Adam and Karlie Amato.
They celebrated their anniversary at a joint party with their grandson, Adam, celebrating his graduation.
