MIKE and JoAnn Barylak of Barnesville are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today. They were united in marriage on July 27, 1968 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Flushing with the Rev. Father James Boehm officiating.
Barylak is the son of Jean Barylak and the late Joseph Barylak. He is a U.S. Army Medical Corps veteran with the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. He is retired from the Joseph Skilken Real Estate Development and Management Company of Columbus, where he was the Eastern Region Maintenance Supervisor for 25 years. His wife, JoAnn, is a registered nurse at Barnesville Hospital for 40 years. She is the Director of Infection Control and Employee Health.
They are parents of two children, Jennifer Lahna and her husband Max, of Coshocton and Kevin Barylak of Gahanna, Ohio. They have one grandchild, Logan Michael Lahna.
The couple are members of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Barnesville. They will be celebrating at Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio.
