Ron and Jo Lucas recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage June 22, l968, at St Joseph’s Church in Tiltonsville by Monsignor Robert H Punke.
Lucas, son of the late Clyde and Doris Lucas, is a retired machinist from Wheeling Pittsubrgh Steel. His wife is the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Marie Dompa of Rayland. She is employed at United Bank in Bellaire.
They have three children: Stephanie (Christopher) Hurley of Cary, N.C.; Jamie (Stephen) Hancock of Martins Ferry; and Daniel (Samantha) of Yorkville.
The family is complete with seven grandchildren.
They celebrated their anniversary recently with a tour through Europe.
