MARTINS FERRY – Stan and Sharon Minder of Martins Ferry are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, July 27. They were united in marriage at the Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Winnett officiating. Msgr. Pasquenelli of St. Mary’s Parish later blessed their union.
Minder is the son of the late Eugene and Stella Minder. He is the water superintendent of Martins Ferry. His wife, Sharon, is the daughter of Glenna Kitson and the late George Kitson. She is employed as head cook at Ayers Elementary.
They are the parents of two children: Mindi (deceased) and Bryan and his wife, Dana, of Martins Ferry. Their grandchildren are Michael and Allyson Minder.
A special Papal blessing will be presented to them at mass today at St. Mary’s Church, Martins Ferry.
