Midge and Dexter Strough celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 6. They were married at 11:30 a.m. July 6, 1968 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wolfhurst near Bridgeport with the Rev. Strazenski officiating.
Strough is the son of the late Ava and Harvey Strough of Chowchilla, Calif. He is retired from Ormet Corp. His wife Midge is the daughter of the late Leonard and Sophia Loeffler of Bridgeport. She is a former legal secretary and procurement specialist.
The family includes two children – a daughter, Amy, and a son, Michael, as well as his wife, Jennifer, and two grandchildren, Tyler and Brooke.
An anniversary party was held at the Bridgeport Foresters Club.
