60th wedding anniversary: Fehr

BETHLEHEM – Jean and Robert A. Fehr Sr., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, Thursday, July 3. They were united in marriage, July 3, 1948, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wheeling, by the late Rev. Ernest Noll.

Fehr is the son of the late Harry and Margaret Liller Fehr of Lansing. He is a Marine veteran of World War II, and retired from the Pittsburgh District Manager of Insurance Services Office of Pennsylvania. His wife, Jean, is the daughter of the late Ralph Troy and Irene Ullom Troy Paytos of Wheeling. She was a former bookkeeper for Walgreen’s Drug Store, City Window Cleaning, and Uniforms Limited of Wheeling.

They are parents of three children, Robert Jr., and his wife, Pam, of St. Clairsville, Russell of Wheeling, and Cynthia Stahanczyk and her husband, Bryan, of Bethlehem. They have two grandchildren, Brittany Fehr and Chayse Stahanczyk.

The couple commemorated the occasion with a family dinner.
