George and Meda Kovacik celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 6. They were united in marriage on July 6, 1948 in Greenup, Ky.
Kovacik is the son of the late Joe and Julianna Kovacik of Cadiz and is retired from the Y & O Coal Company and the Ohio Department of Transportation. His wife, Meda, is the daughter of the late Harold and Mabel Carlon of Hopedale. They are members of the North Main Street First Church of Christ in Cadiz.
They are the parents of two children, Brandon Miser of North Canton, Ohio; Kaci (Steve) Wright of Medina, Ohio and Mikayla Kovacik of Jewett.
Their children will honor them with a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn.
