SHADYSIDE – Francis and Joyce Mellott, of Shadyside, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, Aug. 9. They were married, Aug. 9, 1958, in St. Michael’s Church, Bellaire, by Father J.J. Lach.
Mellott is the son of the late Frank E. and Mary E. Mellott of Bellaire and his wife, Joyce, is the daughter of the late William J. and Idella Johnson, also of Bellaire. They are the owners of M & M Sales in Bellaire.
They are the parents of three children: Joe (Stephanie) Mellott of Olathe, Kan., Rev. Dr. David Mellott of Baltimore, Md., and Sharon Mellott of Cincinnati. They have two grandchildren, Adam Mellott of Lawrence, Kansas and Brianna Mellott of Wichita, Kansas.
They celebrated with a family dinner at Stratford Springs on Saturday.
