BETHESDA – David and Faye Wines celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Aug. 15. The couple was united in marriage, Aug. 15, 1958.
Both are retired but Wines still does police duty for the Village of Belmont and is a council person for the Village of Bethesda.
They are parents of three children: Bill (Lori) Wines, Jeff (Kami) Wines, and Michele (David) Plumly. They have eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A surprise party, hosted by their children was held at the Bethesda Fire Department with family and friends attending.
