wedding anniversary
Roger and Leslye Clark celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary, Aug. 24. The couple were high school sweethearts and united in marriage on Aug. 24, 1963 at St. Mary’s Church in St. Clairsville.
Clark is the son of the late Clarence and Wanda Clark of Glencoe and worked at Hanna Coal North American Coal and retired this year from the State of Ohio. His wife, Leslye, is the daughter of the late Philip and Geraldine Diab of St. Clairsville, and has been a homemaker and works part time for Dr. W. M. Azallion, D.D.S.
They have five children: Roger and Lisa Clark of Jacobsburg, Ryan and Lisa of Belmont, Robin and Bob Long of Barnesville, Rachelle and Todd Maleski of Centreville, Va., and Rayna and David Jones of Jacobsburg. They have eleven grandchildren: Corey, Kayla, Christian and Conner, Jamie and Katie, Taylor and Zachary, Michael, Elizabeth and Alyssa.
A surprise party was given by their children with family and friends attending.
