45th wedding anniversary: Emfield

RAYLAND – George and Joyce (Poch) Emfield celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary, Sept. 7. They were united in marriage Sept. 7, 1963 at the United Methodist Church in Rayland.

Emfield is the son of the late Elmer and Ivy Emfield. He is retired from Chrome Deposit Corporation, Weirton, WV and his wife, Joyce, is the daughter of Leona Poch of Rayland and the late Joe Poch. She is employed at Zontini’s Pizza in Martins Ferry.

Their children are Kim and her husband, Ed Leonard of Rayland, Kristie and her husband, Brock Ondayko, of Pickerington, and Darren and his wife, Kim, of Rayland. They have six grandchildren: Kelcie and Karlee Leonard, Joshua and Emily Ondayko and Allison and Andrew Emfield.
