MARTINS FERRY – Judy and Henry Newhart are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary today, Sept. 14. They were united in marriage, Sept. 14, 1963 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Martins Ferry, with Rev. Eldon W. Barell officiating.
Newhart is the son of the late Betty Sauers and Edward Newhart Jr. He is employed at Handley House. His wife, Judy, is the daughter of Betty Fleahman and the late Frank Fleahman. She is a home health aide for Panhandle Home Health.
They are the parents of two children, Mary Beth and her husband, Andy Holt, of Rocky Mount, N.C., Michael Newhart and his wife, Ann, of Glen Allen, Va. They have five grandchildren: Sean, Scott and Allison Newhart and Mason and Elane Holt.
