CHARLES and Margaret McGary celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 30. They were united in marriage Aug. 30, 1958 at St. Marys Catholic Church, St. Clairsville with the Rev. Gregory Palma officiating.
McGary is the son of the late Andy and Mannie McGary. He is retired from Ironworkers Local 549 of Wheeling. His wife, Margaret, is the daughter of Doris McCort and the late Ted McCort.
They are the parents of five children: Carli Hashman and Brian McGary of Lafferty, Brent McGary of Uniontown, Kelly Magnani and Chad McGary of Flushing; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a deceased grandson.
