Jacobsburg- Harley and Linda Mellot celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 6. They were united in marriage Sept. 6, 1958 in Jacobsburg, Ohio with the late Rev. Donald Wilson officiating.
Mellott, son of the late Harely C. Mellott and the late Pearl Riley, is employeed by Shadyside School Systems. His wife, the former Linda Mayhugh, is the daughter of the late Earl Mayhugh Jr. and the late Norma Jones. She is retired from Value City Department Store.
They have five children: David of Jacobsburg, Rhonda of Powhatan Point, Jeff of Jacobsburg, James of West Liberty, and Jody of Jacobsburg. They also havefive grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
