COLERAIN – James (Jim) and Carolyn Kain will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, Oct. 18. They were united in marriage, Oct. 18, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bridgeport.
Kain is the son of the late Justina and Peter Kain of Bridgeport and his wife, Carolyn, is the daughter of the late Elsie and Arthur Redman, also of Bridgeport.
They are the parents of three sons, Robert (Bobby) Kain, (deceased); Richard and his wife, Synthia, of Dayton and Scott and his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) of Adena; five grandchildren: Luke, Skylar, Robby, Karl and Anna.
A luncheon was hosted by their sons and daughters-in-law for family and friends.
The couple will take a Caribbean Cruise later in October.
