35th wedding anniversary: Rankin

Timothy and Joyce Rankin will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on Nov. 17. They were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 1973 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiltonsville with the late Fr. Connie Superfisky officiating. Rankin, son of Sarah Rankin and the late Virgil Rankin, is the work-study coordinator for the Jefferson County Educational Services Center and serves as the clerk-treasurer for Tiltonsville. His wife Joyce is the daughter of the late Jerry and Wanda VanBeneden. She is a registered nurse at Wheeling Hospital.

They have three children, Tim and his wife Kristen of Galena, Kelly and her husband Kregg of Lewis Center, and Kathy and her husband Mark of Columbus. They have two grandsons, as well as a granddaughter due in February 2009.
