MR. & Mrs. David Elerick are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, Nov. 23. They were united in marriage Nov. 23, 1968 at the Amity Methodist Church in Powhatan with the Rev. Lee Fetters officiating.
Elerick is the son of the late Henry Elerick and Rose Roth. His wife, Darlene is the daughter of the late Delmas and Alta West.
They are the parents of three children: Kirt (Trisha) Elerick, Kari Merryman and Kristi (Ken) Duncan, all of Powhatan. They have six grandchildren: Dylan and Shayla Merryman, Kamdyn, Kierstyn and Kailyn Elerick and Shelby Seito (deceased).
A family dinner will be held in their honor today.
