Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Roberts celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Nov. 14. They were married in 1953 at the Kirkwood Methodist Church with family and friends present to commemorate the day.
They are the parents of three children: a son, Charles Roberts and his wife Carla and two daughters, Nettie Gavorcik and her husband Edward and the late Kerry Melnick and her husband Fred Melnick. Grandchildren include: Nicole Roberts and her husband Kevin Bloomensaat and Derek and Danielle Gavorcik.
