Robert A. and Jane A. Franke will celebrate their 72nd wedding anniversary on Nov. 26. They were united in marriage, Nov. 26, 1936 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Martins Ferry.
Franke is the son of the late Alfred and Estella Franke. His wife, Jane, is the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna Lee Humphreville.
A family dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day at the home of their daughter, Jean Ann (Mrs. John R. Phillips), with two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
