David and Carla Mirich of Aubrey Texas, formally of Martin Ferry, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on April 6. They were united in marriage April 6, 1985 at the home of the bride’s parents by former Mayor of Bridgeport Charles Furbee.

Mirich, son of the late Nick and Elsie Mirich, is employed by GTS Transportation of Desoto, Texas as a long haul driver. His wife, Carla Kerey Mirich, is the daughter of the late Theodore J. Kerey and Charlotte Kerey. She is employed by Sedgwick CMS of Irving, Texas. She was employed by the Bridgeport and Martins Ferry Police Departments for a combined service of 21 years.

They have two children, Abbie Mirich-Martinez and her husband Oscar Martinez of Decatur, Texas and Adam Mirich of the home. The couple also have one grandson, Quinton Adam Martinez and a new granddaughter, Zoe, who is due the end of April.

A second honeymoon is being planned for later this year to mark the occasion.
