BEALLSVILLE – Vernon and Thelma (Sue) Ebert celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 27. They were united in marriage at the United Church of Christ, German Ridge Road, Powhatan Point, by Rev. Buehler.

Ebert is the son of the late Austin and Mae Ebert and is retired from the Ormet Corporation.

His wife, Thelma, is the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Forni.

Their children are Beth (Dave) Boyd of Pickerington and Renee (Rick) Carpenter of Barnesville; two granddaughters, Taylor Boyd and Sydney Carpenter.

In honor of the couple, an open house will be observed at the Jerusalem Methodist Church, Main Street, Jerusalem, on July 6, from 2 to 4 p.m.
