MOUNT PLEASANT – Jerry and Lorna Sempirek celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 31. They were united in marriage on Dec. 31, 1964 at St. Adalbert’s Church in Dillonvale by Father John Nadzam.

Sempirek is the son of the late Frank and Mary Kucera Sempirek of Dillonvale.

His wife, Lorna, is the daughter of the late Joe and Clara Popkie Poldauff of Dunglen.

They are the parents of son Rodney Sempirek of St. Clairsville and daughter Valerie (Robert) Lachendro of Bellaire.

A dinner celebration was held in their honor with their children.
