COLERAIN – Joseph and Clarima Sokolowski celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 16. They were married on April 16, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Father Paul Metzgar officiating.

Sokolowski was a bricklayer by profession and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, Yorkville Plant.

His wife, Clarima, retired from Citizens Savings Bank in Martins Ferry.

They are the parents of four children: Marilynn, Joseph, Kenneth and Kevin; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A dinner was held at The Farm Restaurant, Mt. Pleasant, with family and friends attending.
