SHADYSIDE – David and Suzanne Montgomery of Shadyside celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 5. They were married June 5, 1965, at the Shadyside Christian Church.

Montgomery is a retired banker, Mead Township fiscal officer and school bus driver. His wife, Suzanne, is a retired elementary school teacher and private piano instructor. They have traveled to all 50 states, parts of Europe and sailed on several cruises.

Their family includes daughters Stacey (David) Carlo and Denise Montgomery, and three grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Carlo and Hayley Shook.

The couple celebrated with a dinner and renewal of their vows.
