Mary and Bernard Gerdau are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 27. They were married at Sacred Heart Church in Neffs.

Bernard is the son of the late Bernard and Victorine Wautelet Gerdau. He retired from the Ohio Edison Burger Plant.

His wife, Mary, is the daughter of the late Joseph and Susan McMullen Kalinowski. She retired from the A&P store.
