Scott and Wendy Tanner of Belmont will celebrate 35 years of marriage on Oct. 17. The Rev. Bob Merritt officiated their wedding on Oct. 17, 1980, at Rockhill Baptist church. Scott is a boom truck operator for Westmoreland Resources. Wendy is a homemaker and loves spending time with her grandkids and their two dogs Max and Rocky. Scott and Wendy raised two sons Scott (Clorisa) of Belmont and Josh (Katrina) of Belmont. They have two grandchildren Adler and Lexus.
