50th wedding anniversary
Martyn and Kay Krupa celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 9. They were married in the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church in Shadyside by the late Rev. William Weinland.
Martyn is the son of the late Martin and Wilma Krupa. He retired from the Shadyside Local School District where he worked as a custodian.
Kay is the daughter of the late Dale and Mildred Duvall. She also retired from the Shadyside Local School District where she was a school bus driver for 36 years.
They are the parents of three sons: Lee (Buffy) Krupa, Kevin Krupa and Adam (Shari) Krupa. They have six grandchildren: Justyn (Tara Thompson) and Skye Krupa, Cole and Dillon Krupa, and Cierra and Nicole McCorkle. They have one great granddaughter, Aubrey Krupa.
50th wedding anniversary
Dennis and Donna Kennedy recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage on Oct. 2, 1965, at the West Methodist Church in Bridgeport with the late Rev. Gordon Farmer officiating.
Donna is the daughter of the late Donald and Ann Hoge of Bridgeport. She is a retired elementary school teacher with 37 years of teaching experience at the Bridgeport School District.
Dennis is the son of the late Elza and Madge Kennedy of Powhatan Point. He is a retired elementary school teacher with 29 years of teaching experience at the Bridgeport School District.
They are the parents of one son, Donald married to Teresa, who lives in Ashland. Granddaughter Katie completes the family circle. They will celebrate this occasion at a luncheon at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay Park, with family and friends. It will be hosted by their son and his wife.
