40th wedding anniversary
Joseph and Kathy Warner of Bethesda are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, Nov. 29.
Joe and his wife Kathy, the former Kathy Gilham, were united in marriage on Nov. 29, 1975, at the East Main Street Church of Christ in Barnesville.
Joe is the son of the late Joseph Rueben and Doris Warner, and Kathy is the daughter of the late Robert and Waneta Gilham, all of Barnesville. Joe and Kathy are both graduates of Barnesville High School Class of 1975, where they began their relationship their senior year. Joe has been employed with U.S. Corrugated Inc., Bethesda, for 38 years. Kathy is retired from the health field. She was an aerobic instructor and personal trainer for 20 years.
They have two daughters: Shannon (Junior) Wehr of Bethesda, and Dana (Mike) Burch of Loganvile, Ga. They also enjoy their four grandsons Wyatt Wehr, Spencer, Lucas and Carson Burch.
40th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Green are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 8.
Terry and his wife, the former Frances Gura, were united in marriage on Nov. 8, 1975, at the First United Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry. Terry was employed at Nickles Bakery for 31 years and is now retired. His wife, Frances, was employed at the former Bobbie Brooks/Triple A in the USA Garment in Bellaire for 33 years.
They are the proud parents of a son Matthew (wife Amber) Gura. Their other son, Terry, is deceased. They have a granddaughter, Sophia Lynn Gura, who is now 3 years old.
