Ray and Judy Miller of New Athens celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 18. They were united in marriage on Dec. 18, 1965, at the Forestville Methodist Church in Forestville, Md.

Ray is the son of the late Albert and Edith Miller and is retired from Major League Baseball. He was a pitching coach for the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates and managed the Orioles and Minnesota Twins. Judy is the daughter of the late Jack and Dollie Graham.

They have one son, Scott of New Athens, and one granddaughter.
