Stanley Joseph and Marylee Zeakes Boroski of Rayland, Ohio, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 11th.

They were united in marriage on Feb. 11, 1961, by Rev. Father Connie Superfisky at St. Joseph’s Church in Tiltonsville, Ohio, where they are still members.

Stan is the son of the late Stanley and Mary Boroski of Dillonvale, Ohio. He is retired from the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 141 of Wheeling, W.Va.

Marylee is the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Zeakes of Tiltonsville, Ohio. She was employed in the Trust Department of Belmont National Bank of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

They feel blessed to have been able to spend their lives working side-by-side with generations of family at the Tiltonsville Roller Rink.

They are parents of six children: Stan Jr. (Carol) of St. Cloud, Fla.; Lisa of Tiltonsville, Ohio; Christopher (Tammy) of Jeromesville, Ohio; Jill of Martins Ferry, Ohio; Marilee of Pataskala, Ohio; and Anyta of Canal Winchester, Ohio.

They have six grandchildren: Sarah of St. Cloud, Fla.; Chainey of Martins Ferry, Ohio; Olivia of Canal Winchester, Ohio; Clayton of St. Cloud, Fla.; Stephen of Jeromesville, Ohio; and Brittney (dearly departed).

They celebrated with a dinner at Abby’s Restaurant on Wheeling Island with family and friends.
