James G. and Mary Lou Hoblick of Flushing celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 30. They were united in marriage at St. Paul Church in Flushing by Father Charles Sargus. Edward and Mary F. Bethel were their attendants.

James retired from Consol Coal Co. and Division of Mines.

They are parents of Julia Ault (Robert) of Austintown, James D. (Sandra) of Marietta, and Jeffrey A. (Chris) of Flushing. They have six grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Daniel, Katie, Robert and Joey, and one great-grandchild.

A special Mass was held at St. Teresa of Avila in Cadiz with Father Fred Kihm officiating.
