F. Richard and Nancy Beckert will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2. They were married on Sept. 2, 1956, in Cadiz. They are both retired pharmacists and former owners of Finnical’s Pharmacy in Cadiz.

Nancy Beckert is a member of First Families of Harrison County. She is the daughter of George and Nan Finnical, R.Ph., and the granddaughter of Dr. O.H. Finnical, MD, and Anna Finnical of Cadiz.

F. Richard Beckert is the son of Francis and Virginia Beckert of Zanesville. They have two children and four grandchildren. Their son, Richard D. Beckert, PE, works for Microsoft and lives in Lake Stephens, Wash., with his wife Kolette. They have one son. Their daughter, Deborah McDonough, and her husband, David, are both pharmacists and live in Celina, Ohio. They have one daughter and two sons.
