Jim and Helen Krob of Lansing will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18. They were united in marriage on Aug. 18, 1956, at Thomson Methodist Church in Wheeling.

Helen is the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Bauman of Wheeling. Jim is the son of the late Joseph and Christina Krob of Lansing.

Jim and Helen were the owners and operators of Krob’s Dairy and Dairy Bar in Lansing until their retirement.

They are the parents of four children: Tina (Ken) Gimlin of Virginia Beach, Jim (Holly Alder) of New Richmond, Bob (Jamie) of Canton, and Nancy (Matt) Pennington of Belle Center. They have seven grandchildren: Alex (Rosie), Jorie and Jennie Krob, Emily Gimlin, Wyatt Bishop, and Aaron and Nick Pennington.

They celebrated with a family gathering on Aug. 13.
