Charles and Amy (Koch) McConn of Belmont are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, Sept. 18. The couple was married on Sept. 18, 1976, at the First Christian Church in Martins Ferry by the Rev. Sheldon Thomas.

Chuck is the son of Delbert and the late Janice McConn of Bridgeport. Amy is the daughter of JoAnn Koch of Martins Ferry and the late George Koch and the late Robert Mackey.

The couple has one daughter, Misty (Bob) Glitch of Belmont and one son Chazz (Daria) McConn of Key West, Fla. They are also grandparents to Addisyn, Gavin and Avery Glitch.

The couple will celebrate with a weekend getaway to the Amish Country.
