James and Shirley Taylor of Bellaire are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 28, 1951, at the Taylor family home, Bellaire.

Shirley is a homemaker and James is a retired builder and farmer. They have resided on their farm for all 65 years of marriage.

A celebration will be hosted by their children at Osiris Shrine Temple from 2-4 p.m. today, Sept. 18.

Shirley is the daughter of the late Russell Nelson and the late Letha Eaton of Shadyside. James is the son of the late William and Mary Taylor of Bellaire.

Jim and Shirley have three children, Amy (Worthington, Ohio, Ruth (Apopka, Fla.), and Chuck and Shari (Bellaire). They have six grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Corey, Ashley, Chelsey and Jaymes.

They have three great-grandchildren, Jayce, Jolene and Colt.
