Ralph and Carolyn (Harper) Tolonese of Rayland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24. They were united marriage in Tiltonsville at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ralph is the son of the late Ralph and Lucy Tolonese, Yorkville, and Carolyn is the daughter of the late John G. and Thelma Harper, Blaine.

Ralph is retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and ACS, Pittsburgh, and Carolyn is retired from the John S. Marshall Nationwide Insurance agency. She is a member of Rayland Village Council.

They have two daughters, Suzanne of Rayland and Jackie of Sunbury, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Brianna Merchant of Stow, Ohio, and Nathan Tolonese of Rayland.

They renewed their vows Sept. 24 at the Elm Grove Christian Church.
