Joe and Jackie Bednarik will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 10. They were married Oct. 10, 1966, in First United Methodist Church, Gloucester, N.J.

Joe is the son of the late Rose and Max Bednarik. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the Citizens Bank. He also was a driver for several years for Martins Ferry Senior Center.

His wife Jackie is the daughter of the late Evelyn J.C. “Tete” Davis. She retired from Softite Credit Union  and is a Mary Kay consultant.

They have two daughters Becky (Larry) Roberts and Rachel(Rick) Kerns. They have six grandchildren: Hope (Roberts), Antonio Chiodi, Joseph Roberts, Chancey, Bethany, Zoe and Ellery Robinson.

They will celebrate with family and friends during a gathering at First Baptist Church.
