Mr. and Mrs. Luke Gerald Varvarosky of Shadyside celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June. They were united in marriage on June 2, 1956, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Bridgeport.

Gerald “Jerry” is the son of the late Luke and Barbara Varvarosky and is retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 83 in Wheeling. Joyce is the daughter of the late Derald and Virginia Davis and worked for the late Dr. Tom Ring in Bellaire.

They are the parents of three children: Chris (Mary) of Columbus, Joy (Bob) Heidelbach of Virginia and Tresa (Dan) Wood of Florida. They have nine grandchildren: Loren Dove of South Carolina, Cara and Luke Varvarosky of Columbus, Tiffany Kula, Carly Sweeney and Kyle Heidelbach of Virginia, Chelsie, Dustin, and Casey Wood of Florida. They also have five great-grandchildren.

They celebrated with a family picnic at their home.
