Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Liberatore

Jerry and Cheryl Liberatore are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary today, Jan. 29. They were united in marriage Jan. 29, 1972, at St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, with Monsignor Paul Metzger officiating.

Liberatore, son of the late Lavinia Gentile and Albert Liberatore, retired from L.J. Smith, Inc. in Bowerston, Ohio, in 2006. His wife, Cheryl, is the daughter of the late Phyllis Bishop and William Maurer. She is employed at Bellaire Local Elementary School.

They have two children, Nikki (Mark) of Bellaire and Ty (Nicole) of Akron, and two grandchildren, Reed and Stella Liberatore of Akron. They celebrated at dinner with their family.
