Paul and Debbie Curnes celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on April 1. The couple was united in marriage on Saturday, April 1, 1972, at the First Baptist Church of Martins Ferry by the late Rev. Richard H. DeMott, pastor.

Paul is a pump operator for the city of Martins Ferry Water Department and his wife, Debbie, is employed at The Times Leader as a switchboard operator and cash office clerk.

They are the parents of four children: Paul D. Curnes Jr. (Sharon) of Wheeling; Christy (Mike) Richards also of Wheeling; Tiffany Krone of St. Clairsville; and Doug (Katie) Curnes of Troy, Ohio. Nine beautiful grandchildren complete the family: Katlyn, Austin, Gavin, Dylan, Brittany, Victoria (Tori), Trenton, Brady and Bowen.

A vacation will be taken at a later date.
