Frank and Linda Shepherd of Shadyside celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 3. They were united in marriage on June 3, 1967, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Shadyside with the Rev. Sartori officiating.

Linda Shepherd is the daughter of the late William and Katherine Crofton from Shadyside. She has worked for Wheeling Jesuit University for 20 years. Frank Shepherd is the son of the late Frank Sr. and Selma Shepherd from Bellaire. He is retired from the Ormet Corp. where he worked for more than 35 years.

They are the parents of two children. The family includes Angela and her husband Michael of Lakeland, Fla., and Jason of Shadyside. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

They celebrated their anniversary with a vow renewal at St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire followed by a reception.
