50th wedding

anniversary

Jack and Sharon Meholovitch of Bellaire celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 1967, at First Christian Church, Martins Ferry, with the late H. Dean Warren officiating.

Jack is the son of the late Michael and Jennie Meholovitch. He served with the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant. He retired from Tri-State Machine Inc. after 50 years.

Sharon is the daughter of the late Nelson and Lillian Coyle. She spent 20 years in banking. She retired from Wheeling Park Commission’s accounting department after 12 years.

They are the parents of two daughters: Wendy (Russell, deceased) Ward of Chardon, Ohio, and Heidi (Wayne) Berk of St. Clairsville. They have four grandchildren: Kalyn and Dakota Ward and Caleb and Abigail Berk.

They are planning a trip with family to Niagara Falls, Canada, at a later date.
